A Lunch & Memorial Service for George W. “Bill” Snyder Jr., age 79, of Long Pine, will be held on Sunday, October 5, at 12:30 p.m. at the Hidden Paradise Pavilion south of Long Pine. A Private family Inurnment with military honors will be held at a later date in the Grandview Cemetery at Long Pine. Bill Snyder died June 15.
Survivors include wife Carol Snyder of Long Pine; daughter Erica Snyder-Wassinger of Omaha; grandsons Carroll & Snyder Wassinger; brothers-in-law: Jack (Charlotte) Shade of Eaton Rapids, Mich. and F.J. Shade of Omaha; cousin Gail Snyder of Torrington, Wyo.; along with other family members. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Brown County Ambulance Association or the Long Pine Volunteer Fire Department.
