Memorial Service for Harlin D. Welch, age 88, of Ainsworth, NE will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ainsworth United Methodist Church. Military Honors are to be conducted there by Ainsworth American Legion Post #79. Inurnment will occur at a later date in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Harlin Welch passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Sandhills Care Center in Ainsworth.
Survivors include: wife, Joyce Welch of Ainsworth/Bassett, NE; three children, DeLonna (Jim) Costello of Pierre, SD, Denise Young and significant other, Mark Swenson of Pierre, SD and Harlin (Kara) Welch of Ainsworth; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Jackie (Jack) Smith of Urbana, MO; brother, Garry (Donna) Welch of Seattle, WA; along with nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Harlin’s name for a future designation.
