Word has been received of the death of Jo Ann Babcock, age 85 of Bassett, NE. Per her wishes, no services will be held. A Private Family Inurnment at the Grandview Cemetery in Long Pine, NE will take place at a later date. Jo Ann passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Rock County Hospital in Bassett.
Survivors include husband, Harry “Bill” Babcock, Jr. of Bassett; three children: Deb (Tom) Frank of Bassett, Lori (Frank) Runyon of Onamia, MN and Bill (Teresa) Babcock of Long Pine; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lorene Mercier of Grant, NE and Mary Babcock of Spokane, WA; brother-in-law, Bill Allen of Bassett; along with nieces, nephews and other family members.
