Funeral Service for John W. Dodds, age 70, of Ainsworth, NE was held Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Ainsworth Cemetery. John Dodds passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at his home in Ainsworth.
Survivors include, wife, Bonnie of Ainsworth; two children, Christy Paddock of Ainsworth and Cory (Michelle) Dodds of Rapid City, SD; four grandchildren; ten siblings, Elven “Spud” Dodds of Ainsworth, Mary Hite of North Platte, NE, Steve (Lindsey) Dodds of Ainsworth, Jim (Penny) Dodds of North Platte, Cathi Flynn of Kearney, NE, Cindy (Dean) Churchill of Valentine, NE, Diane (Gerald “Chop”) Watts of Ainsworth, Neena (Allen) Miller of Kearney, Dave Dodds (significant other, Brittni Hart) of Ainsworth and Ford (Kodi) Dodds of Spearfish, SD; brother-inlaw, Jim (Betty) Teter of Kearney; along with nieces, nephews and other family members In lieu of flowers, memorials were suggested to the family in John’s name for a future designation.
