Funeral service for Loretta Joy McGill, age 86, of Blair, formerly of Ainsworth, will be held on Saturday, January 31, at 11 a.m. at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth. Burial will follow in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Joy McGill passed away Sunday, January 25, at the Carter Place Senior Living in Blair.
Survivors include five children: Terry (Lavada) McGill of Ainsworth, Tom (Dortha) McGill of Ainsworth, Tim (Ann) McGill of Oakland,
Iowa, Trevor (Jamie) McGill of Blair, and Tamara (Forest) Jarnagin of Albuquerque, N.M.; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Jim Edwards of Valentine and Bill (Caroline) Edwards of Kearney; along with nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitations for Joy McGill will be held on Friday, January 30, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth and continue on
Saturday prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Joy’s name for a future designation.
