Memorial Service for Joyce M. Welch, age 80, of Ainsworth, NE was held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ainsworth United Methodist Church. A Private Family Inurnment preceded the service in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Joyce Welch passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the Rock County Hospital Long Term Care in Bassett, NE.
Survivors include: three children, DeLonna (Jim) Costello of Pierre, SD, Denise Young and significant other, Mark Swenson of Pierre and Harlin (Kara) Welch of Ainsworth; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Kathy Carrier of Ellicott City, MD; along with nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Joyce’s name for a future designation.
