Lois L. “Moore” Hulshizer

Lois Larraine “Moore” Hulshizer, Wade was born in Long Pine, NE on January 7, 1929. Lois passed away at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance NE on October 21, 2024.

She was the oldest in a family of eight siblings. She had five sisters and two brothers. She spent her childhood on the Moore Ranch SE of Long Pine near Pine Creek.

She attended Long Pine School and graduated 12th grade.

She taught country School south of Long Pine until she married Alfred Arthur Hulshizer aka “Nub” They lived in Long Pine for 20 years. They raised four children Duane, Marilyn, Yvonne and Steven.

The family moved to Chadron where Lois and Duane both attended college. Alfred passed away and Lois remarried Sheldon Wade.

She is survived by three children, 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
