Marvin D. Hart was born on March 11, 1944 to George and Myrtle (Hunt) Hart at Valentine, NE. He was taken from this life on December 25, 2021.
Marv attended country school and graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1962. He served for six years in the National Guard and during this time he began working at VonHeeder Repair. He also did other various jobs in the Ainsworth area.
He married the love of his life, Sharon K. Brandenburg, on January 27, 1968 and through this union came two children, Carl Hart and Nadine Starkey of Ainsworth.
In 1971, Marvin started work at the Ainsworth Irrigation District. In 1988, Marv opened his own repair shop, Willow Creek Repair, at his home. He thoroughly enjoyed working on farm equipment and through these jobs he made many memories and lifelong friends. He loved to take on new challenges. He had the ability to do or build anything he put his mind too.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, carpentry work, restoring old tractors and creating many unique items.
Marvin loved his animals too. He was an old softy when it came to his precious kittens. He even had pet chickens that he fed apples to by hand as well as talking to them and petting them daily.
He loved staying home and was not much on social gatherings, but he so loved those who came to see him and held special bonds with so many of them.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Hart; brothers, Floyd and Shorty; and sister, Faye Smith.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, Sharon; son, Carl (Bonnie); daughter Nadine (Kurt); sister, Esther; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, plus many other family members and friends.
Marvin D. Hart was a wonderful husband, an amazing dad, a caring papa, a great brother and a special man to so many others, he will be greatly missed.
Memorial services were held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at the Ainsworth Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Mick Thornton officiating at the service. The CD Selections of, “I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You” by Alan Jackson and “Honey, I’m Home” by Shania Twain were played. A private family inurnment followed in the Buffalo Flats Cemetery northeast of Ainsworth. Honorary bearers were Randy Hart, Darian Jones, Shane Jones, Bill See, Lenny Fernau, Rick Irwin, Mike Davis and Willie Kackmeister. Memorials have been suggested to the family in his name for future designation. Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth was entrusted with the service arrangements.
