Olga P. Strate

Passyka Strate passed away peacefully at Sandhills Care Center in on April 5, 2025, at the age of 78.

Olga was born in Senne, West Germany on January 20, 1947. After graduating high school in 1965, Olga met her future husband, Merrill in Ainsworth and the two were married on July 29, 1967 in Aurora, Olga Passyka Strate passed away peacefully at Sandhills Care Center in Ainsworth on April 5, 2025, at the age of 78.

After living in Colorado and California, Olga and Merrill settled in Ainsworth in 1974 where she owned and operated a successful beauty shop business for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Merrill who passed away in 2023.

Olga is survived by her son Sean (Stacy) of Fredericksburg, VA; two grandchildren; sisters, Edica (Bob) Baxter and Stefania Passyka all of Burwell, Mary Lucht of Chambers, , and brother, John Passyka of Albion, CA; along with other family members.

The family will say goodbye privately and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Olga’s name be made to the Sandhills Care Center, https://sandhillscarecenter.net/ , in Ainsworth.
