Paul R. Lane, 92

Paul R. Lane, age 92 of Kearney, NE passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Brookstone Gardens in Kearney. Private family graveside services will be held at Kearney Cemetery.

Paul was born April 29, 1929 in Yankton, SD to Raymond and Sophia (Kubal) Lane. He graduated from Gregory High School in South Dakota. He furthered his education at Kearney State College with a degree in Industrial Arts. Paul was united in marriage to Leona Ring on September 23, 1951 in Winner, SD. Paul worked in production printing at the University of Nebraska - Kearney for 25 years. He enjoyed building model airplanes and flying.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Leona Lane; children, Val (Sherry) Lane, Kevin Lane and Julie (Monte) Arnold; grandchildren, Jennifer Lane, Brian (Roxie) Lane, Kenny (Gloria) Lane, Adam (Michelle) Lane, Spencer Lane and Emily Arnold; great-grandchildren, Ava, Victoria and Wednesday Lane; sister, Imogene Mendlik; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Douglas Lane; sister, Linda Lynaugh; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Mary Ring.
