Funeral services for Russell “Wayne” Hensley Jr., age 57, of Johnstown, NE were held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth. Additional services and burial will follow in Alamosa, CO. Wayne Hensley died Thursday, December 2, 2021 in his home in Johnstown.
Survivors include wife, Rose Hensley of Johnstown; three stepchildren, Sherry (James) Disney of Johnstown, Greg (Mya) Gunter of Mosca, CO and Garold (April) Gunter of Del Norte, CO; 12 step-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter; mother, Naomi Cook of Mosca, CO; sister-in-law, Jackie Hensley of Vinita, OK; niece, Amanda (Jason) Williams; and four great-nieces along with other family and friends.
