Word has been received of the death of Scott E. Mason, age 72, of Long Pine. Scott passed away Wednesday, May 28, at the Rock County Hospital Long Term Care in Bassett.
Per his wishes, no services will be held. Survivors include wife Christy Mason of Long Pine; daughters Penny (Bart) Waits of Ainsworth, Heather (Vince) Ruhe of Grand Island, Jessica Turpin of Long Pine, Courtney McLeod of Hastings, Amanda Siebol of Washington, and Miranda Ryan of Sierra Vista, Ariz; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Deb (Jim) Ferguson of St. Joseph, Mo., Milissa (Michael) Lade of Hastings, Suzi Wilson of Grand Island, Mark (Kathy) Mason of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Grant Mason of Grand Island; along with nieces, nephews and other family members.
