Shirley (Greiner) Minne was born February 27, 1935, and left this Earth on February 15, 2026.
Shirley was born the middle child to Earl and Alvina (Hollingsworth) Greiner. She grew up and graduated in Ainsworth. After graduation, she went to Wayne to get her teaching certificate and taught one year in Ainsworth. She then took training to become an airline stewardess and moved to Colorado. In Colorado, she met Harold Minne and they were married June 6, 1960. Two sons were born to this union, Mark and Kevin. They lived in Denver, Colo., until 1999, and then bought an acreage outside of Franktown, Colo. When Harold retired, they enjoyed traveling, visiting Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and many places in the United States. Shirley was a wonderful cook and hostess, she loved to have friends and family over. She loved to play the piano and sing, and she sang with many other women at many funerals. Last b ut not l east, she loved t o s ee M ark a nd K evin's f amilies. T he grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy. Shirley is s urvived b y s on M ark ( Karen) o f N ebraska; s on K evin (Vindi) of Colorado; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and sister Ann. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and older brother Rod.
