A Graveside Memorial Service for Stanley M. McKimmey, age 71 of Ainsworth, NE, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in the Purdum Cemetery. A Lunch will follow at 12:00 noon in the Dunning Community Center with a Celebration of Life to follow the lunch there. Stanley McKimmey passed away September 11, 2024 at his home in Ainsworth.
Survivors include, wife, Shelly of Ainsworth; daughters: Cori (Dan) Dunaway of Crete, NE and Kristin (Dustin) Petersen of Lincoln, NE; two grandchildren; half-sisters, Sandra Royal of Minden, NE, Vickie Webb of Dunning, NE and Elizabeth Kmoch of Callaway, NE; half-brother, David (Glenda) Eaton of Benton City, WA; sisters-in-law, Sharon Jenkins of Greenwood, AR, Sandy Miller of Burwell, NE and Johna Eaton of Broken Bow, NE; brothers-in-law, Jim (Candy) Baxter of Delta, CO and Mike (Linn) Baxter of Ainsworth; along with nieces, nephews and other family members.
Those attending the events are asked to please wear Husker, western or any other casual attire and a reminder that the Cornhusker football game will be on in the afternoon at the Community Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Blaine County Foundation in Stanley’s name or to the family for a future designation.
