Memorial Services for William B. “Bill” Allen, age 91, and Alice M. (Lanz) Allen, age 86, of Bassett, NE will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in the Bassett Methodist Church. A Private Inurnment will be held at a later time.
Bill Allen passed away July 17, 2024 and Alice Allen passed away November 28, 2020. In honor of Bill’s service, military honors will be conducted by Bassett American Legion Post #123 in the church yard of the Methodist Church at the end of services.
Survivors include son, Jeffrey (Michelle) Allen of Bassett; daughter, Darcy (Jeffrey) Marlow of Columbia, MO; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carol Allen of Northridge, CA; along with other family members.
Memorials have been suggested to the Rock County Historical Society or the Rock County Hospital Long Term Care Facility.
