Agnes “Darline” (Minshall) Blake died peacefully at her home in Bassett, NE on February 3, 2024 at the age of 91 years. Darline was born in Rock County, NE on April 30, 1932 to Walter “Guy” Minshall and Agnes (Kleckner) Minshall.

Joyce Ann Engel was born on August 17, 1934, at the Engel Ranch south of Valentine, NE. Her parents were Joseph and Mary (Boltz) Engel. Joyce passed away on January 31, 2024, at the Sandhills Care Center in Ainsworth, NE.

“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.” It is with much sadness, we say good-bye to our beloved wife, mom and grandma. She loved her family so much and it is hard to imagine this world without her.

Barbara Ann Huelle, daughter of Orbie and Gladys (Edie) Patton, was born January 11, 1948 in Kansas City, MO. She passed from this life Monday, January 22, 2024 in Franklin, NE having recently celebrated her 76th birthday.

Marvel Mae McCoy, born October 3, 1937, in Springview, NE, peacefully passed away January 13, 2024 in Bassett, NE at the age of 86. She was the first-born daughter of Robert Francis and Hilda Mae (Rinehart) McCoy following seven (six living) sons. Two years later, her sister, Fern Kay, completed the family. Marvel attended District #56 grade school in Springview and graduated from Keya Paha County High School with the Class of 1955. It was there she met the love of her life, Wayne Russell Forgey. They were married August 7, 1955 and to this union three children were born, Teresa Kay, Dean Russell and Debra Fay.

Cynthia Jane Williams was born July 25, 1940 to Relly and Dorothy (Madison) Williams. She passed away on December 19, 2023 at the Rock County Hospital in Bassett, NE.

Funeral Services for Marvel M. (McCoy) Forgey, age 86, of Springview, NE will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. (CST) in the Keya Paha High School Gymnasium at Springview. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Springview. Marvel Forgey died January 13, 2024 at the Rock County Hospital in Bassett, NE.

Mike was born on June 23, 1965 in Ainsworth, NE, the youngest son of Floyd and Shirley Crone. Mike passed away on December 23, 2023.
