Ranell M. Blake was born October 24, 1968 at the Rock County Hospital in Bassett, NE. She was the youngest child of Archie Lee and Ila Mae (Sybrant) Blake. She was welcomed home by her brother, Dean and her sister, Ronda. She passed away at her home in Long Pine, NE on September 19, 2023 at the age of 54 years.

Mary Olive Keim was born on October 23, 1936 north of Crookston, NE in Todd County, SD to Maford H. and Aileen E. (Malone) Yenglin. She passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the Rock County Hospital Long Term Care Center in Bassett, NE at the age of 86 years.

Gary Don Lambley was born on September, 8th 1941 to Ulyse and Lucille (Stephen) Lambley in Ainsworth, NE. He was raised in the country close to town along with two big brothers and a little sister. His childhood was busy riding Baldy and Red Feather ponies along with his siblings, numerous cousins and half of the Ainsworth kids.

Allen “Boss Hog” W. Hansen, age 71, of Grand Island, NE, formerly of Ainsworth, NE, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

A Remembrance and Fellowship event for Ranell M. Blake Porter, age 54, of Long Pine will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Bassett American Legion Club. Ranell Porter died September 19, 2023 in her home at Long Pine.

Matthew Todd Schiermeyer, 57 of Fairfield, NE passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings, NE due to a side-by-side accident. Todd was born on January 11, 1966 to Kenneth and Joan (VanBoening) Schiermeyer at Broadstone Memorial Hospital, Superior, NE.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Berniece E. Fiala, age 95, of Ainsworth, NE.

Glen Eugene Baker was born in Omaha, NE on January 17, 1928 and passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 95 in Bassett, NE. He was adopted by Will and Myrtle Baker of Ainsworth, NE.

Matthew Todd Schiermeyer, 57, Fairfield, NE passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE due to a side-by-side accident. Todd is the husband of Jennifer Schiermeyer of Ainsworth, NE.

Gerry “Mighty” F. Graham was born on September 23, 1939 at Ainsworth, NE to Sam Frank Graham and Alice I.
