Mark Joseph Mulligan was unexpectedly called to his heavenly home on November 5th, 2021, at the age of 56. He was with his companion Gus.

Clayton Albert “Butch” Quinn, 81, of Santa Maria, CA died in his home on October 10, 2021 with family by his side. Clay was born February 22, 1940 in Ainsworth, NE to Leslie and Zeta (Jackman) Quinn.

Funeral service for Michael David “Mike” Himburg, 45, of Norfolk, NE was held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Rev. Randy Rasmussen officiated the service. Interment was at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk. Mike passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha after a long battle with congestive heart failure. His wife, children, mother, and brother and sister-in-law were by his side. Stonacek Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

Delbert Dean Fullerton, 90, of Gothenburg, NE, died November 4, 2021 at Hilltop Estates. Delbert Dean Fullerton was born May 23, 1931, the 3rd of four boys, in Cody, NE to Ralph Earl and Anna Marie (Kleinemier) Fullerton.

Dylan Lee Hartz-Whited, son of Veronica Hartz of Ainsworth, NE and Henry Whited III of Springview, NE was stillborn on October 22, 2021. He leaves to mourn his parents, grandparents Crystal Peyatt of Bassett, NE, Rosa Kepler of Ainsworth and Henry Whited Jr.

Don E. Baker, 69, of Omaha, NE, passed away on October 24, 2021. Don was born in Ainsworth, NE to Glen and Mary (Kern) Baker on September 25, 1952. Don graduated from Ainsworth High School and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, College of Business Administration. He retired from the Nebraska Department of Revenue. He was an avid Husker fan and talented golfer.

Harry Kenneth Johnston was born January 14, 1952, in Arnold, NE to Harry and Naomi (Dishman) Johnston. He was the oldest of three children. Known by Ken or Kenny, he attended grade school at Hawley Flats District #3, and graduated from Brewster High School in 1970. When Ken was young, he enjoyed fixing fence with his father, playing with toy trucks, fixing cars, and taking care of his vehicles.

A celebration of life service for Carol McBride will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Stuart Community Church in Stuart, NE. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Stuart Legion.

Morton Albert McBride was born on August 13, 1926 on his maternal grandparents’ farm near Mason City, NE. His parents, Oliver and Clydie (Keller) McBride named him after J. Sterling Morton. Mort and his siblings John, Bonnie and Bruce were raised on the Shady Nook Ranch (north of Brewster, NE and west of the German Valley Church). The death of his mother when he was seven years old had a life-long impact on the shy little blonde haired boy.

Word has been received of the passing of Kyle Irwin Treat age 57 of Ainsworth, Nebraska. Kyle Treat died recently at his home in Ainsworth.
