NORTH PLATTE, Neb. – In a proactive state and national effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and ensure the health of its customers and staff, the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is closing the public crane viewing blind at North River Wildlife Management Area north of Hershey.
As COVID-19 is changing our lives on a daily basis and with school closings, families are home together in often-times tight quarters. This can be very trying, even for the most patient individual. This can also be an opportunity to strengthen our family bonds with children.
Shauna Radant has been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhunsker Girls State. She was selected based on her academic achievements which include: Student Council, Class Officer, FFA, FBLA, 4-H, Girls Golf, High Honor Roll all three years of high school and National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Ryan and Melanie Radant of Valentine.
Shyanne Urbin of Wood Lake has been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State. Ubrin will represent Wood Lake American Legion Auxiliary #202 during this year’s Cornhusker Girls State, May 31st - June 6th.
