The Ainsworth Boys Golf Team traveled to Ewing for the 2023 Summerland Bobcats Golf Invitational on Wednesday, April 12th. Ainsworth placed seventh as a team with a score of 395.

The access road and boat launch at Willow Lake B.C. Wildlife Management Area in Brown County will be closed starting April 17th until further notice because of an improvement project.

It was a warm, windy day on April 11th for the Golf Dual between the Ainsworth Bulldogs and Valentine Badgers. Ainsworth traveled to Valentine to Frederick Peak Golf Course for their second outing of the season.

Weather has hampered the start of the Boys Golf Season for the Ainsworth Boys Golf Team. A snowy winter kept the Ainsworth Boys Golf Team off the course and made practice difficult.

The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) announced the individuals selected to the NSAA Student Advisory Committee for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years. These new members will join the 10 seniors serving their second term: Emma Kennedy of Ainsworth was among those selected to the NSAA Student Advisory Committee.

The Ainsworth Track Teams were in Bassett for the North Central Invitational Track Meet on April 3rd. The track meet was to be held on April 4th, but was moved up a day to predicted inclement weather. The weather for the track meet was cool and windy.

The Ainsworth Middle School Track Team hosted their annual Ainsworth Invitational Track Meet on Thursday, March 28th. Eight teams competed in the track meet with Valentine winning the boys competition and West Holt winning the girls competition.

The Ainsworth Boys and Girls Track Teams traveled to Vermillion, SD on March 28th to compete in the Dan Lennon Invitational. Boys Results 60 Meter Dash Preliminaries: 40th.

The Ainsworth Track Team hosted the 2023 Ainsworth Relays on Friday, March 24th. After receiving a couple inches of snow on Wednesday night, school officials were uncertain about holding the Ainsworth Relays, but decided Thursday afternoon the event would be held.
