Jolyn Pozehl competed in the 2024 NSAA Girls State Wrestling Tournament in the Girls 110 lb. weight class and brought home a silver medal.

The Ainsworth Boys Basketball Team split two games this past week. The Dawgs were in Stuart on February 6th and defeated the Stuart Broncos 59-54.

NSAA Girls District 4 Results for Ainsworth Girls Jolyn Pozehl is headed to the 2024 NSAA Girls State Wrestling Tournament. The State Wrestling Tournament will be held in Omaha on February 15th, 16th and 17th.

On Saturday, February 10th, the Ainsworth High School Speech Team traveled to Gordon to compete in the Gordon-Rushville Invitational. This meet is only varsity competition, so the novices on the team competed as varsity for this meet.

The Ainsworth Boys Wrestling Team ended their season at the Class D District 1 Wrestling Tournament. The tournament was held in Weeping Water on Friday and Saturday, February 9th and 10th.

The Shrine Bowl of Nebraska Board of Directors released the rosters for the 66th Nebraska Shrine Bowl Game and introduced the teams at their annual Player Press Conference at the Sesostris Shrine Center in Roca, Nebraska.

Ainsworth Wrestlers competed in the Southwest Conference Wrestling Tournament on February 1st in Cozad. Team Scores: 1.

The Ainsworth Middle School Girls Wrestling Team competed in the Valentine Girls MS Invitational on January 30th. The Valentine Invitational was to be held on January 13th, but postponed due to weather.

NSAA Girls Subdistrict 4A Results for Ainsworth Girls The Ainsworth Wrestling Team competed in the NSAA Girls Subdistrict 4A Wrestling Tournament on February 2nd and 3rd in Gothenburg. Jolyn Pozehl, 110 lbs., and Megan Jones, 140 lbs., each placed second in their weight classes during Subdistrict 4A wrestling.
