A tornado drill was issued in Brown County on Wednesday, March 23rd in an effort to train residents to be prepared with an action plan in the eventual case that we experience severe weather, like a tornado. Throughout the month of March, the Ainsworth High School Freshmen Physical Education classes were given Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training. There are two classes of 15 students who received training, making 30 new community members ready to help save a life when they encounter someone who is in cardiac arrest.

If there’s one take-away from a session with Tom Field, it’s that there’s no cavalry coming to save your community. It has to start with you.
