Patty Finney Just Shy of Finals in Barrel Racing at The American Rodeo

Patty Finney of Ainsworth competed in the Barrel Racing Preliminary Round of The American Rodeo, held at Cowtown Coliseum in Ft. Worth, TX and AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Preliminary Rounds were held beginning February 20th and the Finals Top 10 Round was held on March 6th.

Makenna Pierce to Attend Cornhusker Girls State June 5-11, 2022 in Lincoln

Makenna Pierce of Ainsworth has been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State June 5-11, 2022, on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Makenna is the daughter of Stephen and Dawn Pierce of Ainsworth. Pierce will study local, county and state government processes in this nonpartisan political learning experience. Every spring, the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Program provides approximately 25,000 young women with a hands-on educational opportunity designed to instruct tomorrow’s leaders in the privileges and duties of responsible citizenship.
