Ainsworth Youth Activities have completed two nights of Youth Soccer and have one more night left. Soccer fields in Ainsworth are located: from Highway 20, south onto Richardson Drive.

May 1st was the final day of the Ainsworth Art Guild’s two-week annual art show at the Ainsworth Public Library. Martha Rasmussen’s photograph, “Aspen Forest” was awarded Best of Show as well as the “People’s Choice.” Chana Orton juried this year’s show, which had 22 entries.

A regular meeting of the Brown County Hospital (BCH) Board of Trustees was held Monday, April 19, 2021. The meeting was called to order by Secretary, Tate Schipporeit, at 4:02 p.m. Other members in attendance were Brian Delimont, John Gross, Jim Walz and Brent Deibler via Zoom. Also attending was John Werner-CEO, Brandy Bussinger-DON, Tad Stearns-Controller, and Tami Kovar-Recording Secretary. Bryce Betke and Travis Englund joined the meeting via Zoom. Dr. Campbell joined the meeting at 4:32 p.m.

Teens 14 or 15 years of age who work on farms, or others who are interested in learning about safe farming practices, are encouraged to register for this summer’s tractor safety training course, sponsored by the University of Nebraska Extension and the Central States Center for Agricultural Safety and Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health.
