Last Monday, April 5th, we had a new record high temperature of 89 degrees. The weather changed and it was much cooler and we had a little moisture on Tuesday and Wednesday. Saturday was a beautiful day with warm temperatures and no wind. The wind has blown hard most every day.

Ainsworth High School Students Participate in SWC Fine Art Festival Art Show

On Saturday, March 20th, four Ainsworth High School students participated in the SWC Fine Art Festival Art Show that was held in Minden this year. This is the first SWC Fine Art Festival that Ainsworth has been able to participate in the last three years, because of weather and the pandemic.

2021 Pasture Rental Rates

Preliminary Nebraska Farm Real Estate Market survey pasture rental rates are now posted on our Nebraska Extension Ag Economic website: agecon.unl.edu. The full final report is expected in early June.

Ainsworth Students Receive Academic All-State Awards

The Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated by their schools, for their individual academic excellence, leadership, and significant contributions in their NSAA activity. NSAA member schools may nominate two students for each NSAA-sponsored activity.

Ainsworth Art Students Compete in Valentine Art Show

Seven Ainsworth students attended the Valentine Art Show on Wednesday, April 7th. Attending were Kaitlyn Inbody, Allison Cole, Michelle Eick, Tessa Barthel, Lura Hodge, Jakelynn Minor and Tami Cook.
