After a long wait, it was great to see high school track and field again. The 10th Annual Ainsworth Relays were held at East City Park in Ainsworth on Friday, March 26th. Weather was in the mid-50’s and winds were from the south at 10 to 20 mph.

National Library Week will be celebrated April 4-10, 2021, with the theme of “Welcome to Your Library.” The Ainsworth Library wants to promote the idea that libraries extend far beyond the four walls of a building – and that everyone is welcome to use their services. During the pandemic libraries have been going above and beyond to adapt to the changing world by expanding their resources and continuing to meet the needs of their users.

NCDHD still encourages district residents to continue to wear your mask in public places or where social distancing is difficult as well as practice social distancing while out in public.

Carol Woods is glad to see Spring arrive after the time change and two snows totaling 11 inches. It did provide picturesque photos but broke some tree limbs.
