University of Nebraska Foundation Connects Students, Trustees and Stakeholders in West Central Nebraska

The West Central Research, Extension and Education Center and the University of Nebraska Foundation welcomed trustees, stakeholders and students from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture to foster more understanding of the opportunities and experiences of students at each institution.

Governor Jim Pillen announced the resignation of Charity Menefee, director of the Division of Public Health in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Menefee, who has served the state since 2021, has made the decision to step down to dedicate more time to her family.

Fighting Big Government Failures at the IRS

Tax Day is a time when many Americans feel frustration. The average Nebraskan paid $14,974 in federal taxes last year. They expect efficient services in return. Too often, families and seniors get caught in a web of confusing tax rules. Even worse, bureaucratic failures can cost taxpayers thousands of dollars. That is why I am fighting to fix it and give taxpayers some relief.
