Another snowy week. Carol Woods measured 11 inches on the level on Wednesday and then at 10:00 p.m. some more snowing and blowing. The snow keeps drifting on the front step and can hardly open the screen door. It is moisture but it gets tiring to keep shoveling off steps and walk, and trying to walk through it. We pray for the farmers and ranchers and others that must battle it continuously. The roads have huge piles lining the roadside but we have had two good days of melting.

Thought for the week: A good supervisor is one who can step on your toes and not mess up your shine. The same three words is what I heard from people when I called them this week...snow, wind and cold.

Community Senior Center News

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Ainsworth Lions Club was held at 5:00 p.m., February 20, 2023 at the Senior Center in Ainsworth. There were 11 members present.

On Saturday, February 18th, the Ainsworth High School Speech Team hosted their home invitational. Ainsworth was the team champion of this contest, and all Ainsworth speakers brought home an individual medal..
