Ainsworth Men’s League Golf

Kevin Martin’s 2-under par round of 34 claimed the top mark Thursday during men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Martin finished one shot ahead of Graig Kinzie, who posted a 1-under par round of 35. Doug Weiss carded a 1-over par round of 37, followed by Cam Palmer and Joel Klammer with rounds of 38, and Heath Rudnick and Landon Welke with rounds of 39.

Ainsworth Girls Golf Team Opens Season at O’Neill Invite

The Ainsworth High School Girls Golf team swung into the fall sports season at the O’Neill Invite on Thursday, August 18th. There are four golfers competing for AHS, and with this being the first competition of the season on a course that these golfers have not seen before, three AHS golfers used the “circle ten” rule of a maximum of ten strokes per hole.

Ainsworth Library Foundation to Bring Back Book Basket Auction

The Library Foundation Board held its regular quarterly meeting at the Ainsworth Public Library on August 17, 2022. The meeting was called to order at 5 p.m. Roll call showed all seven members present plus the library director.

District Governor Grantzinger Addresses Ainsworth Lions Club

The Ainsworth Lions Club held its regular monthly meeting at 5:00 p.m. on August 15th at Canyon Creek. Lions Club President Dale Hafer called the meeting to order. Roll was taken with 12 members present, along with one guest, District 38-I Governor Jeannie Grantzinger.
