The Ainsworth Boys Wrestling Team hosted 13 teams for the 2024 Ainsworth Invitational Wrestling Tournament on January 27th. Central City took first place with 230 team points and Valentine took second place with 211 team points.

The Ainsworth Girls Wrestling Team hosted the Ainsworth Invitational Wrestling Tournament on January 26th. Ten teams competed in the Invitational with West Holt taking top honors with 80 points and Ainsworth placing second with 70 points.

Even though the Ainsworth Bulldogs lost in overtime to the Holdrege Dusters on January 23rd, Carter Nelson added to his high school accomplishments by breaking the 1,000 point scoring mark. Nelson’s 30 points against the Dusters put him over the 1,000 mark.

The Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs traveled to Ogallala for the second time in less than a week for first round action on January 23rd. The #5 seed Lady Bulldogs defeated the #4 seed Ogallala Lady Indians, 50-47, to advance to second round action.

The Ainsworth Bulldogs hosted the Holdrege Dusters in first round action of the Southwest Conference Basketball Tournament on January 23rd. The Bulldogs lost to the Dusters in overtime, 73-75.

The Ainswort Wrestling Team competed in the West Holt Invitational on Tuesday, January 22nd in Atkinson. The meet was originally scheduled for January 12th, but was postponed due to weather.

Kendyl Delimont Breaks Records, Reaches 1,000 Points AHS junior Kendyl Delimont joined an elite basketball club Thursday night, March 16th, when she surpassed 1,000 career points. In addition to the landmark career points achievement, Delimont also broke the girls basketball school records for career 3-pointers, most 3-pointers in a season and most points scored in a season.

The Ainsworth Bulldogs traveled to Ogallala on Saturday, January 20th and lost to the Ogallala Indians, 60-87. Ogallala had a big 31 point first quarter while the Dawgs managed only 11 points.
