Jacob Graff has taken over as the Head Coach of the Ainsworth Boys Wrestling Team and will be assisted by Wade Alberts. The Boys Wrestling Team has three freshmen, two sophomores, two juniors and one senior.

The Ainsworth Girls Basketball Team will begin regular season play on December 1st in Ord against the Ord Lady Chanticleers. Sandi Nelson has taken over as head coach of the Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs and will be assisted by Katie Painter.

Ainsworth High School’s tight end Carter Nelson, and University of Nebraska commit, was officially honored as a 2024 All-American during a virtual jersey presentation as part of the Road to the Dome digital series.

Kendyl Delimont signed a Letter-of-Intent with the University of Nebraska Omaha to play Women’s Basketball for the Omaha Mavericks. Delimont, a senior at Ainsworth High School, signed with the Omaha Mavericks on November 9th with her parents, coaches and teammates present.

These five seniors have worn their volleyball jerseys for the last time as an Ainsworth Bulldog. They leave the rest of their teammates after providing them with team leadership.

The 2023 Ainsworth Football Team has wrapped up their season and says farewell to nine seniors. Many of the seniors started their varsity football careers in 2020 with Head Coach Jessi Owen.

With her first place finish in the Class D Girls Cross Country Championship, Katherine Kerrigan of Ainsworth was named to the 2023 Girls Cross Country Super-State and All-State Teams. The Cross Country Championship was held in Kearney at the Kearney Country Club on Friday, October 20th.

The Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs Volleyball Team ended their season in Sub-District action with a win over the Valentine Lady Badgers, 3-1, and loss to the West Holt Lady Huskies 0-3. Valentine The Lady Bulldogs, #2 seed, met the Lady Badgers, #3 seed, on October 23rd in Atkinson for first round action in the Subdistrict C2-10 play.

The Ainsworth Bulldogs football season came to an end on Friday, October 27th with a loss to the Howells-Dodge Jaguars, 12-32, in the D2 Second Round Football Playoffs. The Dawgs ended a fantastic season of 9-1.

The Ainsworth All-Stars Softball Team ended their 2023 season with a second place finish at a softball tournament in Gordon, NE on Sunday, October 15th. The All-Stars are a traveling coed softball team of local men and women sponsored by Shawn Fernau Construction.
