The Ainsworth Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in a hayfield southwest of Ainsworth. According to Ainsworth Fire Chief Brad Fiala, at approximately 2:30 p.m.

After the loss of her infant child in 2016, Melissa Stewart of Long Pine decided she needed an outlet, and Prairieland Flowers was created. She had a background in horticulture and cut flowers.
