Pool Opens Amid High June Temperatures

With daily temperatures in the 90s in early June, Ainsworth Community Swimming Pool has been busy helping everyone cool off. After being closed the initial few days after the opening date due to mechanical issues, the pool saw plenty of traffic the second week of June.

Property Valuation Change Protest Hearings to be Held July 6th, 8th & 15th

The Brown County Assessor, by statute, must set the values of property in relation to how similar properties have sold. Ainsworth, Long Pine and Johnstown, rural residential and recreation homes have all been revalued to get them equalized and within statutory range.

Sheriff’s Report

June 6th - 12th, 2021 Sunday, June 6th Provided assistance with an allied agency investigating a report of a possible sexual assault involving a Brown County resident. The Brown County Ambulance Association transported an Ainsworth resident to the Brown County Hospital.
