AHS Volleyball Team Wins Final Regular Season Home Match

The Lady Dawgs took down the Hyannis Longhorns in four sets (25-16, 23-25, 25-13, 2512) during the team’s last regular- season home game on Thursday, October 1. For the Dawgs, senior Gracyn Painter had 16 kills, followed by sophomore Ava Graff with five and senior Jaylee Good with three.
Bulldogs Fall to Creighton 64-7

The Ainsworth football team traveled to Creighton on Friday, October 2, to take on the Bulldogs. Creighton put up 50 points in the first three quarters while holding Ainsworth scoreless until the team scored a touchdown in the final quarter, but not before Creighton scored 14 more points, to leave the scoreboard reading 64-7.

The Ainsworth Lions Club held its regular monthly meeting at 5 p.m. on September 21 at the Ainsworth Senior Center. Lion President Connie Lentz called the meeting to order with nine members present. District 38I Zone D1 Chairperson Brian Martin from Atkinson was also present and welcomed.
