There was some excitement at the Ainsworth Star-Journal on Monday afternoon, September 12th around 3:15 p.m. A&R Construction was using a cement saw across Highway 20 when a shear pin broke and the blade from the cement saw was launched across Highway 20, across the Star-Journal parking lot and through a Star-Journal window.

Following a shortened football game due to weather on September 16th, the coronation of Homecoming royalty was moved to McAndrew Gymnasium. Crowned as Homecoming Royalty were (back row left to right) Princess Saylen Young, Queen Cameron Goochey, King Ian Finley and Prince Jensen Williams. Crown bearers for the evening were (front row left to right) Gracyn Peterson, daughter of Kirk and Chelsey Peterson and Bryer McNally, son of Amber McNally & BJ Clark.

On Thursday evening, September 8th, the Ainsworth Bulldogs travelled to Basset to play in the North Central Knights Triangular. The Bulldogs, Knights and Renegades all played each other.

The Girls Golf team did not attend the Gothenburg Invite on Tuesday, August 13th. They are attending a tournament in Mullen on Thursday, August 15th, starting at 10:00 a.m.

The Ainsworth Bulldogs won their third win of the season by defeating the Burwell Longhorns 34-12 on September 9th. The undefeated Dawgs hosted Burwell on a rainy Friday night at East City Park.
