By Andrew Ellsworth, M.D._ After a visit about aches, pains and various medical issues, a patient was commenting on getting older.Similar to other patients, I expected him to say something like, “It’s no fun getting older.”To my surprise, the patient said, “I’m 85. That means I have a lot to be thankful for.” Some people are almost always positive, and some are usually negative.Those that are positive have been found to have better outcomes and seem to enjoy themselves more while unfortunately, those that tend to be more negative do not do as well.

The youthful hypnotist announced that he would hypnotize Lillian and put her to sleep and, to his own surprise, succeeded in doing so it so frightened him that he was unable to bring her out of the spell and all efforts by members of the family had no effect.

The Summer Triangle’s Hidden Treasures

David Prosper September skies bring the lovely Summer Triangle asterism into prime position after nightfall for observers in the Northern Hemisphere. Its position high in the sky may make it difficult for some to observe its member stars comfortably, since looking straight up while standing can be hard on one’s neck! While that isn’t much of a problem for those that just want to quickly spot its brightest stars and member constellations, this difficulty can prevent folks from seeing some of the lesser known and dimmer star patterns scattered around its informal borders.
