Board of Education Approves Two Enrollment Option Requests, NCDC Invoice, NASB Board Policy Updates

Ainsworth Community Schools Board of Education - Frank Beel, Jim Arens, Mark Johnson, Jessica Pozehl and Brad Wilkins met in regular session on Monday evening, August 8th. The Board approved the consent agenda consisting of previous minutes, payment of claims, cash flow report totals ending July 31, 2022 $$1,525,000.00, NSDLAF $1,361,000.00, Receipts $446,014.36, Payments - $592,112.80 and Ending Balance - $436,520.34.

Brown County Hospital Board Accepts AFC Roofing Bid

A regular meeting of the Brown County Hospital (BCH) Board of Trustees was held Monday, July 25, 2022. Present at the meeting were Chairman Brent Deibler, board members Tate Schipporeit, Jim Walz and John Gross. Excused was board member Brian Delimont. Also attending were Mirya Hallock - CEO and Tawny Allen-Recording Secretary. Tad Stearns-CFO attended via zoom. Corey Schroedl - Maintenance Manager attended for his presentation.

Considering the time of year, influenza was low on the list of possibilities, and COVID-19 did not yet exist. After a physical exam and listening to his story, I ordered some tests, which resulted in a diagnosis of West Nile virus.
