The City of Ainsworth will hold a Public Input Open House regarding the Main Street/Downtown Revitalization project scheduled for 2024 on Wednesday, June 8th. The open house will start immediately following the June 8th City Council meeting.

While many Nebraskans are eager to enjoy Memorial Day weekend boating, the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission urges them to be wary of pesky hitchhikers that invade the state’s waters. To prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species, Game and Parks watercraft inspectors will be checking boats before they launch at lakes around the state.

Join the Niobrara National Scenic River, the Friends of the Niobrara, and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission for a series of Fishing Clinics along the Niobrara River watershed. Four fishing clinics are currently planned for the summer of 2022.
