Brown County Hospital Welcomes New CEO Mirya Hallock

Brown County Hospital has hired Mirya Hallock as the new CEO to fill the position last held by John Werner, who resigned in October 2021 to be closer to his family. Ruth Stephens has been filling in as the Interim CEO since then. Hallock officially started the position on Monday, May 23rd.

The Brown County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at the Ainsworth Conference Center for the purpose of meeting with the Ainsworth City Council and Sandhills Care Center Board of Directors to discuss the Future of the Sandhills Care Center. A complete agenda is kept on file for public inspection in the Brown County Clerk’s office in Brown County Courthouse.
