I’ve always wanted to go to California. Well, that can now be checked off my “Bucket List.” Spent a week in Palm Springs, golfing with my lady friends - Ann Hoch, Jen Martin and Wendy Wilkins. The weather kinda spoiled us, allowing us to golf in the 70s. I guess we picked a good week of weather to be gone. Back in Ainsworth we saw reports of negative temperatures.

On the 9th of February twenty calendar days will have passed since my priority bill, LB 773, had it’s hearing in the Judiciary Committee. I notified the speaker the first hour of the very first day of session that this will be my priority bill. I was the first senator to do so. After twenty calendar days have passed since a bill hearing, a procedure in the legislature’s rules commonly known as the “pull motion” is in order.

The Nebraska 30th Annual Aviation Symposium, sponsored by the Nebraska Aviation Council, was held on January 27, 2022 at the Crowne Plaza in Kearney.
