After the loss of her infant child in 2016, Melissa Stewart of Long Pine decided she needed an outlet, and Prairieland Flowers was created. She had a background in horticulture and cut flowers.

Carol Woods has been enjoying the beautiful fall weather. Her buckeye tree leaves are a brilliant orange. Other trees are turning yellow. God’s beautiful creation! Carol still has beautiful zinnia flowers, roses, dianthus and a few hibicus. Seems there are a lot of pesky flies, too.

Brown County Fair Superintendent Audrey Wilson has released the winners from the Housewife Division exhibits. Winners in the various categories include: Breads Banana Bread: Blue - Iris Sisson, Ryan Connell and Brandy Connell; Red - Becky Schelm and Patty Nelson; White - Connie Rossenbach.
