Introducing the Class of 2034 at Ainsworth Community Schools

Kindergarteners were excited to start their education at Ainsworth Community Schools on Thursday, August 12th. Drivers Urged to Remember Back-to-School Safety

The 2021-2022 school year is here and highway and city traffic in the mornings has increased with Ainsworth students walking, bussing and driving to school. It’s important to remember student safety when driving, especially when encountering school busses, crosswalks and school zones. By following state and local laws, you can better protect yourself, your passengers and students as they head back to school.

Ainsworth Golfers Retain Border Cup, Defeating Bassett in Annual Border Cup Golf Competition

In an annual event featuring the top golfers from the Ainsworth Golf Course and the Bassett Country Club, the two teams competed in the Border Cup at the Bassett Country Club on Saturday, August 7th. Ainsworth had a slim one-point lead of 8 - 7 heading into the singles matches and managed to win eight of the ten singles matches to retain the Border Cup, 16 - 9.

Willcuts and Beardts Win Pink Ladies Golf Tournament

The Ainsworth Pink Ladies Dart League were host to the Ainsworth Pink Ladies 4-Person Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 7th at the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course. Nine teams participated in the tournament. Winners were:

Ainsworth Men’s League Golf

The team of Shane Kinnick, Dane Sears and Dallas Fowler continues in first place with a team score of 57 points in the Ainsworth Men’s League Golf on Thursday, August 5th. Remaining in second place with 51 points was the team of Vance Heyer, Joel Klammer and Jade Egle.

Ainsworth Women’s League Golf

Low scramble scores for Ainsworth Women’s League on Wednesday, August 4th were: 37 – Ashley Martin, Lydia Allen and Rachel Schumacher; 38 – Ann Hoch, Jen Martin and Wendy Wilkins; and a 39 – Rhonda Theis and Kari Kenner.
