Bethany Chapter #113 Order of Eastern Star Initiates Jenny Brown at Recent Meeting

During the August 3, 2021 meeting of Bethany Chapter #113 Order of Eastern Star, members initiated Jenny Brown into the organization. Brown is a third generation family member belonging to the Ainsworth Chapter. 39 Years of Education & Carcass Data on Sandhills Calves

Since 1982, the Sandhills Cattle Association has been conducting its annual Educational, Performance and Carcass Contest. This year’s awards banquet for the contest will be held on August 20, 2021, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Cherry County Fairgrounds 4-H Building in Valentine, NE.

The Sandhills Cattle Association is once again teaming up with the Sandhills Affiliate of the Nebraska Cattlemen’s and the Nebraska Cattlemen’s Cow/Calf Council to bring the 2nd Annual Fall Feeder Calf Preview. Take a peaceful drive and stop at some of the premier ranches and best feeder calves the Sandhills has to offer.

21st Annual Nebraska Sandhills Open Road Challenge, August 12th-14th

On August 11th more than 140 high performance cars will converge on Arnold, NE for the 21st Annual Sandhills Open Road Challenge. The event will begin on August 12th with the 22 mile Loup 2 Loup Open Road Race between Halsey and Purdum, NE.
