The following area students have been named to the dean’s list for academic excellence after the spring 2021 semester at South Dakota State University. To earn dean’s list distinctions in SDSU’s colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Students with an asterisk received a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Wednesday, July 7th: Pork chops, mashed potato, baked beans, fruit cocktail, bread and milk Thursday, July 8th: Lasagna, lettuce salad, pineapple, garlic bread and milk. Friday, July 9th: Philly steak sandwich, scalloped potatoes, mandarin oranges, bun, milk and cookie.

Ainsworth Airport Authority Meeting Ainsworth Airport Authority will meet in regular session on Tuesday, July 13th at 7:00 p.m. at the Ainsworth Conference Center.

The Ainsworth Football coaching staff and players ran a three day football camp for athletes entering 3rd through 6th grade on June 28th, 29th and 30th. Participation was high with 33 campers signing up, meaning the kids got to hit Coach Owen with water balloons as promised. Each camper learned fundamental skills at all positions on both sides of the ball. On the final day, campers were divided into teams and had the opportunity to play a few games. Themes of the day included Family, Effort and Fun.
