The Ainsworth City Council met for a special meeting on March 23rd to review a proposed amendment to the Community Solar Project Agreement with Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD). The Council had signed the Community Solar Project Agreement during the February meeting.

The Brown County Commissioners have scheduled a Public Hearing for Tuesday, April 6th to take public comments and discuss the issuance of new bonds to raise funding for resurfacing Meadville Avenue. The hearing will start at 5:30 p.m.

What is the difference between healthy food vs nutritious food? Basically, healthy food is food that provides energy and nutrients you need to be healthy. Healthy eats are easy: eat a variety of foods, including vegetables, fruits and whole grain products; eat lean meats, poultry, fish, beans and dairy products; drink lots of water; and limit salt, sugar, alcohol, saturated fats, and trans-fat in your diet.
