Winter Has Shown Up and Now Time to Scoop Snow

This past weekend’s snow storm wasn’t a big one, like some the area has experienced, but it was enough to have to scoop walks, driveways and plow some streets and roads. Since the Main Street Project was completed this past fall, the City of Ainsworth has talked about possibly having to change the way snow is removed from Main Street with the bump outs and such.

Erin Painter Returns to Ainsworth to Start Career at Ainsworth Star-Journal

Erin Painter has returned to Ainsworth to train for her new career as Managing Editor of the Ainsworth Star-Journal. Born and raised in Ainsworth, Painter said, “I’ve always felt a pull to return to small town living and after living in Lincoln for the past two years, it made me realize how much I missed being in a small town.” Painters parents, Clint and Katie Painter, recently approached her about moving back to help run the Ainsworth Star-Journal.
