Twenty area youth participated in the annual Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest on December 8th at McAndrew Gymnasium. Each participant competes in their age group and shoots 25 free throws.

Proceedings of the Long Pine City Council Regular Meeting The Long Pine City Council held their regular meeting on December 5, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Long Pine Community Center. Mayor Ed Brown called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. and called attention to the open meeting laws posted on the wall of the Community Center. The following Council Members were present: Linda Alberts, Dave Cheatum, Bryan Sanford and Andrea Collatos. City Clerk/Treasurer Jan Buoy. Five (5) visitors were present.
