Scores Remain Steady on Statewide Assessment and Accountability Results

The Nebraska Department of Education released the Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment System (NSCAS) results and the Accountability for a Quality Education System Today and Tomorrow, or AQuESTT classifications today. Both reports provide insight into how students are performing academically on Nebraska’s state standards.

Ainsworth Art Guild Tours Hutton Ranch Museum

Art Guild members and guests met Wednesday, November 13 and drove to the Hutton Ranch Sanctuary northeast of Bassett. They viewed the many art pieces created by Lucille Hutton and learned of the history of the Hutton’s and their ranch and its eventual donation to the Audubon of Kansas organization.

Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) Open

EducationQuest Foundation encourages Nebraskans who plan to attend college during the 2025-26 academic year to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), now open at studentaid.gov The FAFSA is the application for federal, state and collegebased financial aid. Colleges use the information in the FAFSA to determine eligibility for financial assistance, which can include scholarships, grants, work-study funds and student loans.
