Brown County Sheriff Brent Deibler reported to the Brown County Commissioners, during their regular meeting on July 2nd, that the Brown County Jail passed inspection with flying colors and is now open to receive prisoners.

Cherry County Attorney Eric Scott has announced that Adam Earl Joe Cooper, age 35 of Arkansas has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Larry Lynn Covalciuc, a participant in the Tour De Nebraska bicycle ride.
