Ainsworth, Beddows, and Clydesdales: The ABC’s of Award-Winning Hitch Driving

When Jeff and Judi Beddow moved from Branson, MO, they were looking for wide open space to contrast from their life of tourist traps, noise in abundance, and year-long crowds. What they were looking for in small-town Ainsworth was the perfect place to establish their own oasis of entertainment in training Clydesdale horses. And, when they take off to circuit shows across the country, they do so in a way that does not go unnoticed. Jeff laughed as he self-described these journeys as the circus coming to town. From show to show, he tows his camper with a pickup, the competition wagon trailer with another pickup, and a semi-truck with his horses. From the Clydesdale horses, which can weigh up to 2,200 pounds, to their beloved 5-pound Yorkie aptly named Mini, the Beddows certainly have quite the show.
